SUZANNE WEED – MANAGING DIRECTOR
Suzanne started her working life in finance
and then moved into recruitment, she then
spent the next fifteen years in a major
high street recruitment agency
building her experience and knowledge of
the industry before finally setting up
prelude twenty three years ago. With
the support of her many established clients
the business was up and running in no
time. The business has gone from
strength to strength, moving with the times
and developing new recruitment areas.
A real people person, hands on and likes to
be seen as part of the team. Still
really enjoys the industry and treats every
placement like the first. Proud that
her client’s trust her judgement and pre
selection ability and that she has helped
to launch many careers over the
years. Suzanne believes you should
find something to laugh about every day, it
keeps you young. She loves gardening,
her twin Somali cats and fighting to save
the badgers. She has six badgers who visit
her garden every night.

RICHARD
WEED – FINANCE DIRECTOR AND COMPANY
SECRETARY
Richard helped set up the recruitment agency
twenty three years ago, he is the man with
the keys to petty cash. Richard deals
with all the temporary payroll, he works
hard to build a good relationship with the
temporary staff and is on hand to answer
any tax or NI problems they may have.
Credit control, management accounts and end
of year all come under his remit, needs to
have endless cups of coffee to get through
the day, could really do with another token
male to stay sane.
Hobbies, none that he will admit to.

MADDIE HAYMAN – RECRUITMENT MANAGER
I started my recruitment career more than
20 years ago working for a major High
Street Recruitment
agency. After a short break to
have my first child I returned to
recruitment in a one branch independent
agency based in Windsor. My
recruitment career in Windsor lasted for 18
years until 3 years ago when I joined
Prelude.
I love my job and I have thoroughly enjoyed
meeting and getting to know a wide variety
of candidates and clients some of whom I am
now privileged to call friends. I
truly believe that any good working
relationship is built on trust and never
asking anyone to do anything you would not
be prepared to do yourself.

SYBIL
AVANN – ACCOUNTS ADMINISTRATOR
Sybil is one of the longest serving members
of Prelude, having been here for almost
twenty years. Sybil deals with all
aspects of accounts and works alongside
Richard in the Accounts Department.
Cool headed, great sense of humour and a
real party animal. A keen gardener
and professional flower arranger in her
spare time. Prelude just wouldn’t be
the same without her and neither would
Richard.

DENISE SKIPSEY – ADMINISTRATOR/RECEPTIONIST
I joined the Prelude Administration team in
July 2005 and although I am new to the
recruitment industry, I have already been
made to feel a valued team member by the
friendly staff and atmosphere at Prelude.
I am the face that will meet and greet you
when you step through the doors of the
Prelude offices. An important part of
my role is to make you feel at ease,
because as we all know interviews can set
your nerves a jangling.
As part of the
admin team, I support the Recruitment
Consultants and ensure the smooth running of
the office. My previous experience
includes Office Management and Customer
Services. For relaxation I enjoy
spending time with my family, music,
gardening and cooking.
